He practices in areas of tax laws, Company and Finance, Banking, Financial law, Capital markets law, IFRS based Financial reporting, Financial management, Auditing, Business performance and feasibility analysis. He has been advising major companies in Ethiopia particularly in construction and manufacturing sectors on Matters of laws and Finance. He also teaches at Addis Ababa University College of Business and Economics. He served as a Risk Management and compliance Department Manager at Abay Bank Share Company. In his consultancy services engagements, he worked for various clients in Ethiopia: Ministry of Urban Development and Construction, Ministry of Finance and IFC/WBG included. He was actively involved in the process of drafting Ethiopian capital market proclamation and translated the same from English to Amharic. He is known in taking stages on various discussion forums in the areas of taxation, stock markets and financial reporting related areas.
